Optum Labs / UCLA AI in Healthcare Hub

Optum Labs (R&D of UnitedHealth Group) and the UCLA Department of Computational Medicine are engaging in a partnership in Machine Learning for Healthcare and Biomedical Sciences. Supported by grants from Optum Labs, the collaboration seeks to advance foundational methods development work in AI/ML and deploy AI/ML to advance precision healthcare.

Optum Labs is the research and development arm of UnitedHealth Group. With the mission to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone, Optum Labs’ world-class experts use data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, clinical and scientific research, and disruptive product development to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges.

Optum-UCLA Partnership Kick-Off Event on Tues. Dec. 6  (RSVP by Nov. 30)

On December 6th, many researchers from Optum Labs will be visiting UCLA for a kickoff meeting of the AI in Healthcare Hub.  This is a great opportunity for UCLA researchers to engage with Optum Labs researchers and start collaborations that may be funded through the Hub.  A networking mixer and AI in Healthcare Hub personnel will help establish connections. If interested in collaboration and funding, please indicate this in the registration form.

The event will be held in the Mong Auditorium (Engineering VI) and will include a continental breakfast and a reception.

Please RSVP by November 30.
