My interests center around mathematical modeling of cellular systems. A member of the Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience Laboratory, my current projects are broadly focused on understanding how populations of neurons coordinate activity to produce cognitive function. I study mechanisms at play in such behaviors as memory, sleep, and motor control, using theory from dynamical systems, stochastic processes, differential geometry and topological data analysis. I've also modeled protein interaction networks and drug resistance in cancer and am always interested in new ideas and conversations—feel free to reach out!
