Yuzhe Yang is an Assistant Professor of Computational Medicine and Computer Science at UCLA, where he directs the Health Intelligence Lab. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at MIT. His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, and AI for science, medicine, and human health. His research has been published in Nature, Nature Medicine, Science Translational Medicine, NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR, and featured in media outlets such as WSJ, Forbes, and BBC. His work has been named one of the Ten Notable Advances in 2022 by Nature Medicine. He is a recipient of the AMIA Edward H. Shortliffe Doctoral Dissertation Award, the Rising Stars in AI, the Rising Stars in Data Science, and Forbes 30 Under 30.
