I am interested in infectious disease dynamics, focusing on subcritical transmission at the animal-human interface. My research applies branching process theory to study how population heterogeneities in transmission and spillover contribute to disease burden and what control methods are most effective at mitigating an outbreak. I am in the Lloyd-Smith lab.
