Dr. Avram is a biomedical informatics researcher at the Big Data Genomics Lab, led by Prof. Eran Halperin at UCLA. His research focuses on AI applications in healthcare, where he collaborates closely with clinicians to leverage patient biomedical data, including medical scans and electronic health records, and develop AI models to identify disease risk factors. He also develops computational methods to predict postoperative complications, optimize treatment strategies, and reduce clinical burden, ultimately improving patient care.
