Every year, the exploretech.la team organizes this amazing event held at UCLA that aims to encourage and inspire high school students from underserved communities in the Greater Los Angeles area to pursue possibilities in computer science and technology. Through panels, interactive workshops, and booths representing UCLA student organizations as well as industry, we hope to make computer science and technology more accessible to local high school students.

We are proud to announce that Ruth Johnson, a CS Ph.D. student at UCLA will be the keynote speaker during the opening ceremony.
She is currently working in 2 labs; Bogdan Pasaniuc's lab and Sriram Sankararaman's lab.

This year there are about 400 students, doubled the number from 2019, registered from 8 high schools in the Los Angeles area.

The event will be on March 6th, 2020.
Let's make computer science and technology more accessible to local high school students!
