We are thrilled to announce that the recorded scientific talks and tutorials from this year’s Computational Genomics Summer Institute (CGSI) are now available!
As CGSI prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary, the program continues to be a premier global destination for emerging leaders in genomics and data science. This year's success was powered by contributions from more than 70 faculty members who engaged deeply with students from around the world.
The Immersive CGSI Experience
The CGSI is uniquely designed to be immersive—not just intellectually, but socially, fostering deep academic engagement and lasting professional relationships.
  • Rigor and Depth: The institute features intensive Short Courses and a more focused Long Program for extended hands-on research.
  • A Collaborative Model: Unlike typical "fly-in, fly-out" conferences, CGSI intentionally builds in time for networking, where informal moments like group dinners and downtime are central to the collaborative spirit. As one CGSI alum summarized, "You come for the science, but what you leave with is a community." This approach helps flatten academic hierarchies and has historically led to dozens of meaningful collaborations and publications.
